Welcome to my blog! I am a naturopathic doctor and a mom of 2 kidlets. I am also the owner of the Somerset Health and Wellness Center, a multi-disciplinary health clinic located in Ottawa, Ontario. I have been in practice for 10 years and I don’t think a day has gone by that I haven’t wished that I had a blog to share more info with my patients! Hoorah the day has arrived!
I spend a lot of time with my patients (most visits are about an hour long!) And yet I always feel like the visits are too short and that I have more info to share. I am hoping this blog will help. Recipes, lifestyle tips, how to keep your kids healthy, recipes and more recipes! The emphasis will be on food and how to do it easily no matter your diet restrictions. I will be posting delicious recipes for my patients who are learning to eat a new way. All recipes will be dairy, gluten free and soy free. That’s a promise. But I also will be posting recipes that are Candida, SIBO, Elimination Diet and Paleo friendly.
I will be inviting my colleagues at the Somerset Health and Wellness Centre to guest blog on here so you can get to know them too. They are all brilliant practitioners with a wealth of knowledge to share!
