Part-Time Bilingual Medical Receptionist and Social Media Manager

We are looking for an amazing, friendly enthusiastic person to join our growing team! We are looking to fill a part-time position Mondays and Fridays 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM and Saturdays 8 AM -4:30 PM.  We also need help with maintaining our social media pages which would be an extra 2-5 hrs per week and can be done from home.

Job Experience:

  • minimum 1 year front desk experience or graduate of administrative program
  • top notch computer skills, able to learn new software quickly (we use Jane, MS Office, Google Calendar, Google drive)
  • Excellent communicator and able to multi-task
  • Minimum Education Required: High School
  • Years of Experience Required: At Least 1 Year

Duties include:

  • Greet patients and visitors; be courteous, polite and helpful to the patients at all times
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
  • Explain services offered by the clinic to potential new patients
  • Collect payment for services and natural health products
  • Maintain forms and office supplies required for front desk activities
  • Secure the building at the close of each working day
  • Assure the readiness of the reception area for each working day; open the clinic at the designated time and have all front desk activities fully operational at the start of business hours
  • Receive orders, refill prescriptions and manage clinic dispensary
  • Participate in staff and educational meetings
  • Clerical duties such as filing, distributing mail, data entry
  • Assist the doctors with product research and preparation of marketing materials
  • Communicate with other health clinics in requesting and sharing medical records
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Help maintain a peaceful healing environment where patients feel welcome
  • Help with social media – facebook, blog and instagram

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Warm outgoing personality
  • Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds
  • Excellent telephone skills and etiquette
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions and think critically
  • Excellent memory and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Personal or professional experience with naturopathic medicine would be considered an asset
  • CPR Certification
