My Passion

As the clinic owner of the Somerset Health and Wellness Centre, I have 15 years of experience as a naturopathic doctor in Ottawa and have treated a wide range of conditions. I treat my patients as though they are close family members. I take my time to get to know you and what is happening in your life…weddings, births, deaths in the family, a new move…all of it gets discussed during our visits as it certainly affects your health. Many laughs are shared as we work together to get you back to a place of health.

Many patients suffer from these symptoms and don’t find much relief with conventional medicine. Naturopathic medicine works wonders in restoring gut health.

In 2010, I gave birth to my daughter and became the first woman to deliver a breech baby naturally on hands and knees at the Ottawa General Hospital – and somehow it made headlines! In 2013, I presented my story at the annual conference for the Association of Ontario Midwives. I am pleased to offer private consultations and guidance to women who are interested in pursuing a vaginal breech birth. In 2013, I delivered my second child, Finn, peacefully at home via waterbirth (head down)!!

In my spare time, I enjoy cross country skiing, cooking and trying to get my kids to eat their veggies!
