What led you to become a nutritionist?
After struggling with my own digestive issues for many years, I decided to study nutrition. I had apprenticed for 5 years as a Red Seal Chef, where I felt a strong draw towards the connection of what we eat and our body’s ability to heal. I believe that food is our best medicine. I combined my nutritional studies with my culinary skills to create a healthy foundation for myself to heal and now I support those who are seeking to optimize their health through nutrition and wholesome foods.
Why should clients choose you as their nutritionist?
I understand the importance of loving what we eat and how important it is to feel good! By having a deep understanding of nutrients and how our body absorbs them I create effective and flavourful meal plans that help my clients thrive. The result is healthy and happy clients. I welcome all clients with dietary restrictions and I respect all dietary preferences. I meet every client with compassion and create personalized plans to achieve your health goals.
What are the top 4 treatments that you have a special interest in?
- Nervous system
- Hormones and overall well-being.
What do you do for fun?
I love exploring the great outdoors, camping by bodies of water, taking time to flow it out with yoga or diving into a good book! I also love creating new recipes in the kitchen, experiencing different cultures and cuisines with a balance of adrenaline by snowboarding in the mountains. I believe in a well-balanced lifestyle and to spend each day with a grateful heart.
